I had a loan and I took out the payment insurance. This added an extra £50 per month to my bill but as I was self employed, when I had no work the insurance would never pay out. The loan company didnt tell me that when I took out the loan and as I found out about 3 years into the 5 year loan, by that time the payments for the insurance had been taken out at the begining of the loan and there was nothing to cancel so I pretty much paid for nonthing. I think I will take my changes next time or at least make sure I get all the facts.
